Imagine a way of living where homes are no longer isolated silos but part of an interconnected sanctuary; a shared ecosystem of green, space, and belonging. Proximus proposes a new model of urban habitation that reclaims the backyard not as private waste ground, but as the heart of community.

In this vision, individual houses open up their rear boundaries to form a continuous, protected garden -a communal sanctuary shielded from the noise and exposure of the street. Instead of fragmented, fenced-in plots, residents collectively shape a large, uninterrupted green common: a living landscape that nurtures human connection.

The front of each home remains sculptural and defined, oriented toward the public road with clear access for services and entries. But the true life of the home begins at the back, where private spaces dissolve into shared courtyards and woodland-like thresholds.

The layout fosters light and privacy regulation. Trees and natural landscaping act as soft boundaries, filtering light and sound, preserving privacy without isolating. Residents co-create and co-steward their shared landscape, initiating a new kind of neighborhood bound not by walls, but by trust and shared intent. Instead of driving up to garages or narrow lanes, inhabitants enter their homes through elegant thresholds that lead into a protected oasis.

Proximus is not just about spatial design; it’s a cultural shift. A quiet revolution where the backyard becomes the front yard of community life.
