Situated in the old neighbourhood of Panchavati, the traffic island is envisioned to become a landmark for the city of Nashik. It aims to increase brand visibility of a fourth- generation clothing store. The design largely responds to the existing peepal tree by abstracting the idea of the everyday ritual. The sculpture also borrows the essence of materiality from the cloth, posing itself as a bold red sculpture in a heavily pedestrian market zone.
